Gabby is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who was hit by a car and left for dead when she was only 10 months old! Luckily, she only had a broken leg, and after she healed, an application came in for her through our partner rescue in Pennsylvania. We sent her on a transport up there, and on the first night in her forever home, she bonded with her new sibling, Redford. Behold picture proof!  We have arrived home safely. Redford and Gabby are getting acquainted and they have just had their first meal together. They have spent about the last hour running and playing in the back yard. Gabby is wonderful! She is very obedient. She saw some deer at the far corner of our back yard. She barked and started to chase them but responded very well when we called her off. She is a sweetheart! Redford is a little jealous as he has been an only child but they have already proven to be kissing cousins! We’ll send some pictures as soon as we can get some. We tried but they wouldn’t hold still long enough to get a good shot! |
