This white Boxer ran out in front of a dump truck, who was unable to stop in time.  The driver called animal control and stayed with her to make sure she was okay until they arrived.  Everyone who has been with her reports that she has been incredibly sweet despite the trauma and pain.  She suffered a right femoral fracture right above the elbow, and she is currently on antibiotics and pain meds.  The vet will try to pin her bones together on Monday, and if that doesn't work, it will need to be amputated.
This will cost us $350, not including the spay, vaccinations, and all other vetting.  Thank you to everyone who donated for Baby Girl's leg surgery!  She will still need a foster while she is healing from the surgery and until she finds her forever home.  Please consider being a foster for our Baby Girl, or donating towards a Rottweiler transport (see below) we had last month!
